All-Area Boys’ Golf Team

Ben Allen, Senior, San Marino

Placed fourth in the Rio Hondo League individual championship. Finished in nine-way tie for 12th at CIF Southern Section Northern Individual before missing qualifying mark by one stroke for CIF Qualifying Tournament.

Vince De Pinto, Senior, St. Francis

Helped spark Golden Knights to second-place finish in Mission League and sixth at CIF Southern Section Central Team Divisional. Took fifth overall in league and finished in a nine-way tie for 35th at the CIF Southern Section Northern Individual.

Paul Park, Junior, Crescenta Valley

Helped Falcons place third in the Pacific League. Finished second in the CIF Southern Section North Team Divisional with a two-under-par 70 and advanced to CIF Southern Section Northern Individual, where he placed in a three-way tie for 90th.

Robby Stehlin, Sophomore, La Cañada

Placed third in the Rio Hondo League’s individual final. Finished in a nine-way tie for 12th in the CIF Southern Section Northern Individual Regional and tied for 81st at CIF Southern Section Individual Championship.

Joshua Suh, Junior, La Cañada

Took fifth in the Rio Hondo League’s individual championship. Finished in a nine-way tie for 12th in the CIF Southern Section Northern Individual Regional and tied for 46th at CIF Southern Section Individual Championship.

COACH OF THE YEAR

Kyle Ostrom, St. Francis

In first season, led Golden Knights to second-place finish in the Mission League. Also piloted team to sixth-place effort at CIF Southern Section Central Divisional and sent two players to CIF Southern Section Northern Individual Regional.
