Glendale Community College 0, Mira Costa College 0: Goalkeeper Andrea Guerra finished with six saves Friday for the host Vaqueros (3-0-3) in a nonconference match at Sartoris Field.

MEN’S SOCCER

Glendale Community College 3, Allan Hancock College 1: The visiting Vaqueros picked up a Western State Conference South Division victory Friday at Santa Maria High. Glendale ended a four-match losing streak and improved to 2-4-1 and 1-1 in the division.

BOYS’ WATER POLO

Flintridge Prep in Los Altos Tournament: The Rebels (4-5) captured a pair of victories Friday in the event at Schurr High. Flintridge Prep began with an 18-6 victory against Schurr, as John Treinen finished with five goals. It then earned an 8-6 win against La Serna, with Sean King and Ethan Vandeventer scoring three goals apiece.

GIRLS’ VOLLEYBALL

Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy in Saugus High Tournament: The Tologs won all three of their matches Friday. They opened with a 25-19, 25-15 victory against Serrano before besting Heritage Christian (25-9, 25-9) and Hart (25-20, 25-16).
