Volunteers makeover Crescenta-Cañada YMCA

Dozens of volunteers spent a recent Saturday painting rooms and rails at the Crescenta-Cañada YMCA.

La Cañada High School Key Club members, middle-school-age Builders Club members and the Kiwanis Club of La Cañada worked together to makeover the community center.

The event coincided with an international effort by Kiwanis clubs to work with children on service projects.
