The gala committee for the La Cañada Flintridge Educational Foundation is gearing up for the 23rd Annual Spring Gala set for March 15 at the Langham Huntington Hotel in Pasadena. Invitations are in the mail for the event, which will feature Bourbon Street jazz, New Orleans cuisine and Louisiana hospitality.

Hundreds of items will be presented in the silent auction and several enticing live auction items will be offered. There will also be a raffle drawing for a new Toyota Prius C. Funds raised go toward supporting La Cañada’s public school system.

Scott Tracy, who recently retired from the school board, will be presented the Spirit of Outstanding Service Award while Capital Group and its La Cañada associates will be given the foundation’s first Business Partner in Excellence Award.
