La Cañada Juniors host prospective members

“Cocktails with Friends” was the theme of an informational gathering hosted July 29 by the La Cañada Junior Women’s Club for prospective members.

Twenty-two guests mingled with the current Juniors membership while enjoying wine, hors d’ oeuvres and dessert at the home of Nancy Hempstead, co-chair with Sharon Grey of provisional membership.

In welcoming remarks, Hempstead spoke of the group’s successful philanthropic work and camaraderie, noting, “Juniors is a great place to build new relationships and strengthen existing ones, while providing an excellent opportunity to give back to the community and others in need.”
