Leisure Club to meet Nov. 5: Tim Dietlein, owner of Glendale Center Theatre, will make a presentation about its history and operation at the Nov. 5 meeting of the Leisure Club of La Cañada Flintridge. The event gets underway at 1 p.m. in the All Purpose Room at the Crescenta-Cañada YMCA, 1930 Foothill Blvd., La Cañada.

Parking is free and refreshments — including a slice of pie — will be served.
