St. Francis Mothers’ Guild will hold a “Dine Out Day and Knight” fundraiser on Thursday, Feb.10, at The Star Café and Black Cow Café in Montrose.

“We are thrilled to be working with such family and community-minded people at Star Café and Black Cow Café,” said Teresa Aubert, Mothers’ Guild co-president. “This is the second annual of many fundraisers which we hope to hold here.”

The Star Café, located at 2217 Honolulu Avenue, is open for lunch and dinner from 11a.m. to 10 p.m., serving pasta, hand-tossed oak fired pizza, grilled entrees, salads, sandwiches and more. Its sister restaurant, Black Cow Café, features breakfast, salads, sandwiches, pastas, barbeque, cappuccino, espresso and pastry. It’s located next door at 2219 Honolulu Avenue, and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner from 7a.m. to 9 p.m.

The St. Francis Mothers’ Guild will receive a portion of all proceeds from meals served at both restaurants on Feb. 10 when diners mention St. Francis. The offer is good for dine in, take-out and delivery to a limited area. Funds will be used to support many programs at St. Francis, including Helping Hands and the Hope Fund.
