SGV Flyers Soccer Teams Play Well

Three San Gabriel Valley Flyers Soccer Club teams made their marks at recent Southern California Soccer Tournaments.

The Flyers Girls Under 16 Team competed in the Silver Bracket of the Claremont Stars Summer Classic over the weekend of July 16-17, making it to the final round, and coming in second to a Silver Elite Team.

The Flyers Girls Under 13 Team made it to the finals in the Long Beach United Pyramid Cup on July 23-24.

This team won all three pool games, taking second place after a heartbreaking loss in the final game.

The Flyers Boys Under 15 Team made it to the final round of their competition at the Pateadores Cup in Orange County also during the weekend of July 23-25.

The team lost in the final round to the SCASO Thunder team from Norwalk.
