Latin Jazz Holiday Concert -- 7 p.m. Wed. Dec. 28 and 7 p.m. Thurs. Spirit of Christmas -- Now through Dec. 27. This magical sleigh-ride is filled with everything that’s best about Christmas, including your favorite holiday songs and the highest-kicking chorus girls this side of the North Pole. And with a little bit of Christmas magic, the snow will fall every night inside Kodak Theatre! Descanso’s Boddy House Gallery -- Dec. 27 - Jan. 6. Encore Exhibit. Rosarium horticulturist Wen-Pehn Wang will speak and show how to prune roses. The rose-pruning demonstration is one of the most popular events this time of year at Descanso Gardens, which boasts more than 3,000 rose bushes. The event, part of Descanso’s Horticultural Spotlight program, will begin with a slide show at Van de Kamp Hall and move to the International Rosarium for the pruning demonstration.
