Prep Boys’ Volleyball Wins in CIF Playoffs

Although the Flintridge Prep varsity volleyball team lost its first game in a CIF Southern Section Division V first round match against visiting Los Angeles Milken Community last Thursday, the Rebels came back to win the next three games to take the match, 3-1.

Prep, 13-12, hosted Pasadena La Salle, which won the Santa Fe League title, in second round action on Tuesday, but results were not available at press time.

In the Milken match, the Wildcats won the first game, 25-23. The Rebels came back to sweep the next three games, 25-20, 25-15 and 25-14. Milken finished 14-8 on the season.
