Troop 244 on Route to Silver Award

Girl Scout Troop 244 is in the process of completing its Silver Award.

In order to achieve this award, they will be hosting and supervising various Girl Scout booths at a fund-raiser. This fund-raiser, called “Kids on the Run,” is raising money for Childrens Hospital Los Angeles, while promoting a healthy lifestyle for children.

The girls of Troop 244 have always loved children ever since they were Brownies.

Locals who would like to partake in the festivities should visit Griffith Park (by the carousel) on Jan. 28 from 9 a.m. to noon.

Many healthy and exciting activities will take place including races from adult runners to toddler trotters. Bring your whole family to help Childrens Hospital Los Angeles raise money, promote healthy lifestyles and support the Girl Scouts of Troop 244 earn their Silver Award.
