“Global Ballet Workshop” to go to the Czech Republic

Global Ballet Workshops, a division of California Dance Arts located in La Cañada, has announced plans to send their students to the world famous Ostrava Ballet Workshop in Ostrava, Czech Republic from July 23 to August 19.

While there, the students, led by directors and choreographers Erin Holt and Yehuda Maor will continue their intensive workshop and end their visit with a sole night performance of their production “Blind Journey” at the Janacek Conservatory in Ostrava.

The students assembled from all parts of the U.S., Canada, France and Mexico, and were instructed by various renowned gurus as Igor Vejsada of the Ostrava Ballet- Moravian and Silesian National Theater;

Jana Kurova, former prima ballerina of Prague International Ballet; Karin Auerty, former prima ballerina of the Paris Opera Ballet and San Franciso Ballet and many more invited guest teachers.

Aside from such intensive valuable workshops, this La Cañada Community favorite hosts refuge for fine art performance seekers looking for skilled instruction in acro-dance, hip hop, conditioning, jazz, teen class, and of course classical and global ballet to name a few.
