Foothill Auxiliary hosts Valentine benefit

Annual Valentine Luncheon and Chinese Auction” Foothill Auxiliary benefit chairman, Jean-Anne Hawley and her small but mighty group of 15 active members work all year to bring together their annual Valentine Luncheon and Chinese Auction to be held again this year at the Brookside Country Club in Pasadena on Friday, Feb. 12 at 11:30 a.m.

Springtime will be the theme this year with delightful springtime flowers and sweet table favors. Usually there are approximately 50 large baskets in the Chinese Auction.

Since 1891, Children’s Home Society of California (CHS) has worked tirelessly to provide hope and inspiration to families in California. At CHS, children and families receive the highest quality of programs and services so that it can reach out to children and families at risk. In 2008-2009, 93% of CHS expenditures wem to program services.

Auxiliary members include: Alma Barba, Marilyn Center, Barbara Dawson, Delores Dowdy, Earline Gulick, Jean-Anne Hawley, Mary Herring, Jean Johnson, Joan Lans, Thelma MacGregor, Bree Mosely, Leni Richardson, Judy Stewart, Linda Swanson and Carmi Vescelus.
