2500 block of Mayfield Avenue: Someone broke 20 decorative pieces from the exterior of a perimeter fence on July 23 between 9 a.m. and 10 p.m. The damage was valued at $500.
2900 block of Foothill Boulevard: A man attempted to withdraw cash from an ATM at Chase Bank on July 24 at 6 p.m. The machine would not read his card, and he noticed the slot was overlapped by a suspicious-looking piece of equipment that resembled a card reader. The man tugged on it, and it detached. He immediately contacted sheriff’s deputies, who determined it was a code-grabbing device.
2700 block of Foothill Boulevard: Someone smashed a window and entered Skin Couture, a skin care salon, sometime between July 22 and July 25. Stolen were a laser hair removal device, a cellulite reduction machine, a micro derma abrasion machine, Toshiba laptop and cash. The total loss and damage was valued at nearly $200,000.

Oakwood Avenue and Houseman Street: Someone stole a piece of heavy street repair equipment that was parked on the street between July 23 and July 26. The loss was valued at $25,000.
400 block of Knight Way: Someone defaced the sidewalk of the lunch area at Paradise Canyon Elementary School overnight July 26-27, between 7 p.m. and 7 a.m. The suspect used white paint to write graffiti.

800 block of Flintridge Avenue: Someone smashed the front windshield of a 2008 Lexus ES300 that parked in a carport overnight July 22-23 between 4:30 p.m. and 8:30 a.m. A broken 1-liter glass bottle was found about 5 feet away from the car.
4400 block of Oak Grove Drive: Someone broke into a wooden storage container at La Cañada High School sometime between July 23 and July 26. It was not known if anything has been stolen. The damage was estimated at $620.
