Escrow firm goes from two offices to one

California Executive Escrow Services, Inc. has merged its La Cañada and La Crescenta offices into one site in La Cañada. The move means that the firm’s two offices were centralized in one new office.

The escrow company for 20 years had offices at 827 Foothill Blvd. in La Cañada and at 2870 Foothill Blvd. in La Crescenta. Now the company has set up shop in new digs at 707 Foothill Blvd.

“We saw this relocation as a perfect opportunity to merge our two existing operations,” said Cheryl Pitt, a co-owner of the firm. “Both of our previous locations were very large, and with the current economy, that much space in either location was no longer necessary.”

Pitt and Jeanne Harris have jointly owned California Executive Escrow Services, Inc., based in the foothills, for 25 years.

“Our company is very unique,” Harris said. “We are the true definition of an independent escrow company. We have no affiliation whatsoever to any other real estate business. We are in the unusual position of being able to provide truly unbiased and impartial escrow service to our clients.”

The company’s move brings more visibility, provides clients with more parking and will strengthen the staff by moving them all under one roof, Pitt said.

Four staff members, Alison Gaignard, Maureen Styles, Megan Ganajian and Michelle Saylor, have joined Pitt and Harris moved to the new location from the La Crescenta location. No jobs were cut in the centralization.
