Fleeing suspects toss jewelry from car

Share

Moments after Crescenta Valley Sheriff’s Station deputies responded to a burglary alarm Wednesday morning at a home on the 4300 block of Shepherds Lane, the station also got a call from L.A. County Fire Station 82 — this one about jewelry boxes being thrown from the window of a car entering the eastbound 210 Freeway behind the station.

It turns out that the boxes, which still contained assorted costume jewelry, belonged to the burglarized homeowner, who is working with investigators to determine whether anything else is missing from her ransacked bedroom.

The suspects remain at large.

Anyone with information about the crime is asked to call detectives at (818) 236-4014.
