Armed robber hits La Cañada store
An armed man allegedly stole $150 from a La Cañada Flintridge UPS Store Tuesday, sheriff’s officials said.
The incident occurred at the store on 466 Foothill Blvd. at around 12:45 p.m., according to Lt. Elizabeth Sachs of the Crescenta Valley Sheriff’s Station.
The suspect, described as a black man about 6 feet tall and wearing a gray flannel shirt and blue jeans, carried a small black handgun.
He took the cash from the store’s register and ran away. He remains at large. No injuries were reported.
