La Cañada council to take up RV storage law Monday

Share

The La Cañada Flintridge City Council is expected to decide Monday whether recreational vehicle owners must get city approval before storing RVs on their property.

At Monday’s 7 p.m. meeting, the council is scheduled to vote on a proposed ordinance that would require residents wishing to permanently store an RV to submit to a review of their property by the city director of Community Development. The director would conduct a site visit to determine if storing the vehicle would negatively impact the views or safety of neighbors.

Neighbors will be notified of the reviews under the measure, and would be able to appeal decisions to the city Planning Commision.
