The deadline to send a comment to the Los Angeles County Department of Public Works regarding the Devil’s Gate Dam project is Monday, Jan. 6.

The county has proposed removing 2.4 to 4 million cubic yards of sediment from the dam that built up following the 2009 Station fire. The removal process would occur over a five-year period and has received public protest in the past month.
