La Cañada Presbyterian Church to hold sunrise Easter service at Hahamongna Park

Share

The La Cañada Presbyterian Church will hold a variety of services on Easter Sunday.

On March 31, the church will hold a sunrise service at Hahamongna Park at 6:30 a.m., followed by morning services in the sanctuary. A sunset service will take place at 5:05 p.m. in the Worship Arts Center.

The Easter services vary in style. A 7:55 a.m. service is traditional, while the service at 9:25 a.m. is a part traditional, part contemporary. A late-morning service at 11 a.m. and the sunset service are both more modern.

Those attending the sunrise service are advised to bring a blanket and dress casually. Easter bags for children and ticket giveaways will be available in the visitor’s area after each service.

The church is located at 626 Foothill Blvd. Call (818) 790-6708 or visit www.lacanadapc.org for more information.

In other La Cañada Presbyterian Church news, the church’s Parent Education program is holding its spring gala in April. Dr. Chuck Osburn will be feted at the event, which will take place at Pandora on Green in Pasadena.

The program will collaborate with non-profit Generosity Water to raise funds for three wells that will provide clean drinking water to small villages.

For more information about the gala, contact Sandy Ravana at sandy@lacanadapc.org or (818) 790-6708 x 205.
