LCF Methodists enjoy Dodgers night out

About 25 members of the La Cañada United Methodist Church joined more than 200 of their counterparts to root for the Dodgers Friday night during the 31st Annual United Methodist Family Night at Dodger Stadium. The baseball outing featured a fireworks display.

This Sunday, Pastor Elaine Cho will speak on “God Will Make a Way” during the 10:30 a.m. at the local church, which is at 104 Berkshire Place. Child care and Sunday school for elementary-age students are both available. The Senior Fellowship will meet at noon at the home of Barbara and Jack Dawson. At the same time, Kendra Mathison will host a lunch and pool party for children, older youths and parents at her yard.

A Taize Service is planned for 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 6.
