Letter: Why no more trash cans?

Sheesh, what’s with all the trash? I hike frequently behind our house from the Forest Hill gate up to the top of the hill (great view, by the way). I’ve never seen as much trash along the fire roads and trails as I saw today. Plastic water bottles, broken glass and not broken liquor bottles, aluminum cans, etc. were all over the place. Oops, did I mention left bags of dog stuff? Come on, people!

At one time we had trash cans near the top, why not now? I’d be happy to be in charge of emptying them when the time comes.
