Congregationalists mark anniversary

The historic La Cañada Congregational Church marks its 117th anniversary this Sunday, April 27, with a light lunch following the 10 a.m. worship service. The church, located at 1200 Foothill Blvd., was the first established by settlers in the area.

During the service that precedes the anniversary celebration, the Rev. Skip Lindeman will preach on the topic “It’s OK to Doubt!” Organist Joe Klice will provide music and the Chancel Choir, under the direction of Dr. Harold Daugherty, will sing “Be Thou My Vision,” arranged by Graham Godfrey.
