WRESTLING
La Cañada in Gahr High Tournament: La Cañada received first-place finishes from 106-pound sophomore Cameron Fernando and 195-pound grappler David Martoff on its way to a first-place finish in the Lucky 8’s Tournament at Gahr High on Saturday.
Spartans sophomore Chris Toomey-Severino (126), freshman Alex Mykalo (145), senior Anthony Duffy (182) and senior Ken Kim (220) all finished runner-up.
La Cañada freshman Eli Mulheim (113), sophomore Junya Ishida (138) and sophomore Nolan Forshager (152) placed third in their respective weight classes.

Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy 7, Marlborough 4: Visiting Flintridge Sacred Heart registered a Mission League victory Tuesday.
Temple City 8, La Cañada 7: La Cañada fell Tuesday in a Rio Hondo league road match.
The Spartans are 3-1 in league.

Pasadena Poly 0, Flintridge Prep 0: Flintridge Prep finished in a scoreless tie Tuesday in a Prep League home match.

Flintridge Prep 2, Pasadena Poly 0: Flintridge Prep notched a Prep League road win Tuesday.
The Rebels improved to 15-1-1, 5-0 in league.

Flintridge Prep 59, Rio Hondo Prep 33: Visiting Flintridge Prep won its 52nd straight Prep League game Tuesday.
The Rebels (17-4, 7-0 in league) received 16 points from Kaitlyn Chen, 11 from Ashley Chea and nine from Sofia Gonzalez.
Mayfield 43, Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy 41: Flintridge Sacred Heart (9-12) dropped a nonleague road game Tuesday.
La Cañada 65, Vaughn 31: Host La Cañada rolled to a nonleague victory Saturday.
The Spartans improved to 13-10.
