Basketball: Collision all-star game is Saturday night
Redondo High is the site for Saturday’s 7 p.m. boys’ all-star game matching the City Section against the Southern Section. The girls’ game is at 5:30 p.m.
Etiwanda Coach Dave Kleckner will be receiving the Jim Harrik Lifetime Achievement Award.
Among the players scheduled to participate are Elijah Stewart of Westchester, the City Section player of the year who has become the subject of a recruiting competition between USC and UCLA after being released from his letter of intent with Loyola Marymount.
Thomas Welsh of Loyola will play one final time for his coach, Jamal Adams, who is coaching the Southern Section.
