Detectives from the Lancaster station of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department are continuing to investigate a fight that broke out after the San Pedro-Quartz Hill basketball game on Jan. 2 at Eastside High in Lancaster, according to deputy Yeni Deciga.
Arrested on suspicion of assault using his hands, feet and fists was 18-year-old Cam Thomas, a San Pedro basketball-football player. His bail was set at $30,000. The district attorney has not decided whether to file charges, Deciga said.
Thomas caught a 43-yard pass in a San Pedro City Section Division I championship football win over Dorsey. His name has been removed from San Pedro’s basketball roster on MaxPreps.com.
