It’s partly the reason why he’s more amicable towards his teammates because he thinks they’re exhibiting his kind of personality. When Bynum went down for one game this season, Kobe even went so far as to extend his perspective. He said that that was what he wanted the team’s identity to be outside of X-O’s, a team who plays through injury. Well apart from Bynum, Gasol, Barnes, Metta and of late Sessions (if his teardrop were any indication, I swear he didn’t have that coming in) expect greatness from themselves and work hard to achieve it.
