Annie Park among USC golfers in U.S. Women’s Amateur championship
USC will be well represented at next week’s U.S. Women’s Amateur golf championship.
Sophomore Annie Park, the defending NCAA champion, is one of six Trojans players who will participate in the tournament at the Country Club of Charleston in Charleston, S.C., the school announced.
Senior Sophia Popov, junior Doris Chen, sophomore Kyung Kim and incoming freshmen Gabriella Then and Karen Chung form the USC contingent.
Park, from Levittown, N.Y., won the NCAA title in May at Athens, Ga.
USC won the NCAA team title, finishing 21 strokes ahead of second-place Duke.
