Tweet of the Day: “Morey will not address Derek Fisher. Expect buyout.” -- Jonathan_Feigen (Houston Chronicle’s Rockets beat writer Jonathan Feigen)

Rick Friedman Reader Comment of the Day: “I am glad that Matt Barnes tried to lower Dwight Howard to LA, but I am glad that he stayed in Orlando. Howard is a immature big kid, who needs too grow up. When he couldn’t make up his mind what he wanted to do and when he wouldn’t consider signing an extension to stay with the Lakers, then it was better for him to stay where he was at. He was not worth giving up Paul Gasol and Andrew Bynum. The Lakers made the right trades and not only got a great point guard in Ramon Session, but also got two other pieces that could help them. There also got younger, which was a blessing in disguise. The only bad part of the deal was seeing D-Fish go, but other than that, the Lakers made out great.” -- Cornell33
