Tweet of the Day: “Sure hope Fish catches on with another team. In a business filled with fartheads, cowards+flakes, he’s always been a real man. My man Fish.” -- lazenby (Lakers author Roland Lazenby)

Rick Friedman Reader Comment of the Day: “At the end of this game I could not believe I was yelling “... don’t give the ball to Kobe then he sank a two pointer and then before you can blink an eye Houston sank an uncontested 3 pointer and that was that... Mike Brown’s days as head coach of the Los Angeles Laker’s should be as a Head Coach of the Los Angeles Lakers stop trying to be the friend of Captain Windsprint (cuz I shoot and miss before the offense is set and I turn the ball over cuz I get double teamed...we run the other way). Now there is Bynum picking up on the way Kobe argues every call the refs make... sheesh... this team is out of control. Even in the NBA teams need to have maturity and discipline. Brown obviously isn’t instilling this with these guys.” -- Fanner50
