Former NFL player to seek charges against teens who trashed home

Brian Holloway, a former NFL player with the Los Angeles Raiders and New England Patriots, has said he wants charges brought against partying teenagers who trashed his vacation home in upstate New York over Labor Day weekend.

Holloway learned about the party when one of his children let him know that teens were posting updates and pictures from their home in Stephentown, N.Y., on Twitter during the party, which caused at least $20,000 in damage.

The former offensive lineman, who lives in Lutz, Fla., told the Associated Press he anticipates “waves” of arrests in the case.

“We were getting eyewitness reports of what was happening while it was happening,” Holloway said this month. “We couldn’t believe what was going down.”

Holloway said he compiled a list of 200 names of teens he believes were at the party and posted them on a website he created, www.helpmesave300.com, to give them a chance to take responsibility for their actions.

Although many of the teenagers who were at the party have been identified, according to school officials in the area, no arrests have been reported. Police estimated 200 to 400 people attended the party.

“Everyone that broke the law, I’m pressing charges against,” Holloway said Thursday. “The parents had a chance and students had chance to come forward, and only four did.”
