Clippers face tough games at Minnesota, Oklahoma City
Last week, the Clippers played the Minnesota Timberwolves and Oklahoma City Thunder at Staples Center, beating both teams in close games.
Now the Clippers will see both the Timberwolves and Thunder this week in back-to-back games.
By no means, Chris Paul said, will those games be easy.
“It’s tough, tough back-to-back games,” Paul said. “But ain’t nobody going to feel sorry for us. Our schedule has been tough for us this season.”
The Clippers play the Timberwolves to begin the back-to-back games Wednesday night in Minneapolis.
The Clippers beat the Timberwolves by two points in their first meeting this season, escaping after Kevin Love missed a tip-in that could have tied the score in the final second.
“Minnesota had that tip-back to go into overtime,” Paul said. “So they feel like they let one get away. They are going to be waiting for us. So is Oklahoma City.”
The Clippers beat the Thunder by eight points last week and will meet the Thunder on Thursday night in a nationally televised game.
