Green Bay TV station pokes fun at NFL with replacement weatherman

Green Bay television station NBC26 made fun of the infamous replacement referees who botched Monday night’s football game by using a replacement weather guy on its show.

The substitute weatherman sounded like a “Sesame Street” character and said that at 7 a.m. Tuesday morning the weather would be minus-200 degrees. By noon, he proclaimed the temperature would warm up to 346 degrees.

The real weather guy then chases his replacement off the set and delivers the correct forecast.

“That’s how it’s done,” he says. “Get it right people.”

Too bad the veteran referees weren’t able to storm the field and reverse the poor call that gave the Seahawks a 14-12 win over the Green Bay Packers on Monday.
