When: 7 p.m. Sunday.

Where: Pauley Pavilion.

On the air: TV: Pac-12 Networks; Radio: 570.

Update: This will qualify as the closest thing to a home game for Long Beach State until next month. The 49ers (1-3) are in the midst of a madcap stretch of nine games in eight states and it hasn’t started well. Big runs have been the biggest problem during a three-game losing streak. Long Beach State gave up an 18-0 run against Wichita State, a game-opening 14-0 run against North Carolina and another 18-0 run against Louisville, in games they lost by an average of nearly 32 points. UCLA freshman guard Lonzo Ball has flirted with a triple-double in each of the first three games. Freshman forward T.J. Leaf and senior guard Bryce Alford are averaging 20 points per game for the Bruins (3-0), who are averaging 103 points per game.
