Art Wave, a warehouse specializing in original oil paintings, hand-painted reproductions and framing, is closing its doors after 13 years in business.

Highly visible from the street, the shop is known for the hanging artwork on its exterior wall at the corner of Victory Boulevard and Alameda Avenue.

In addition to paintings, the business also carries statues and mirrors.

In online advertisements, Art Wave touts Len Aaron — who helped found the art supply chain Aaron Brothers — as one of its featured artists.

Reached at the store, owner Shaul Havivy declined to talk about the closing or say what the final day would be.

Discounts are being offered on artwork as well as framing.

Art Wave is located at 1001 S. Victory Blvd. and its hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.
