Update: Police searching for shooting suspect
Police are searching for a 23-year-old man suspected of shooting a man in the foot in Burbank late Tuesday night, police said.
The suspect, identified by police as Carlen Carl Stepanian, is suspected of shooting the victim shortly before midnight in a residence in the 900 block of Fairmont Road, said Burbank Police Sgt. Darin Ryburn.
Police discovered the injured man during a traffic stop shortly before midnight near Olive Avenue and Parish Place, Ryburn said.
The man, a passenger in the vehicle that was pulled over, was transported to a local hospital for treatment. His injuries were not life-threatening.
