Talent and fashion show helps in epilepsy fight

Share

Talent for Epilepsy presented its second annual fundraising talent and fashion show Saturday night at the Courtyard Irvine Spectrum hotel, with sponsors including Lululemon Athletica, Along Came a Spider and Trixxi.

Organizers said proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to people struggling with expenses related to epilepsy, a central nervous system disorder that causes seizures.

Talent for Epilepsy, a Long Beach-based nonprofit, was founded in 2009 by then-7-year-old Grace Edwards. Her cousin Logan was diagnosed with epilepsy in 2005 when he was 1.
