Jean Lucille Roach joined her loving husband, Hal, in heaven on January 6, 2013. Her passing came almost two months after celebrating her 90th birthday.

Jean was born on November 9, 1922 in Albuquerque, New Mexico and moved to Winslow, Arizona as a baby. She lived in Winslow for almost 20 years (often “standing on the corner” as the Eagles sing!), and then moved to Glendale, California. She and Hal married in 1947.

Jean leaves behind her three children and their spouses: Pat Brantly, Jim Roach (Janie), and Nancy Chase (Curt); five grandchildren, Stacie, Kyle, Molly, Amy and Kevin.

Jean loved God, her family and her friends. We have been loved, and learned to love, in a way which will be passed on to future generations. We will miss her every day, but she will live on in the memory of all who knew her. We will do well to live her legacy of faith, family and love.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 12 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Montrose. Internment at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Glendale, will follow the Mass.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Jean’s name may be made to the charity of your choice.
