For just $119,000, you can tour the world on a Four Seasons jet

Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts will use a private branded jet to take travelers around the world on bespoke tours starting next year, the chain announced Wednesday.

The Four Seasons Jet is a Boeing 757 that has been adapted with leather flatbed seats, Wi-Fi and its own “globally inspired cuisine.”

And, of course, Four Seasons service. For example, passengers will have access to an on-board concierge to book extras such as spa time or golf dates while traveling to their destination.

Tours stop in nine or 10 countries, depending on which itinerary is selected, and passengers stay in Four Seasons hotels along the way.

This isn’t the first time the hotel brand has offered such trips, but it is the first time it has adapted a jet for private use.

Here are trips planned next year:

-- Around the World begins Feb. 9 in Los Angeles and takes you paddleboarding in Hawaii; snorkeling in Bora-Bora, French Polynesia; cruising in a seaplane cruise over Sydney, Australia; whitewater rafting in Bali, Indonesia; viewing elephants in Northern Thailand; seeing the Taj Mahal and Mumbai in India; and ending with Istanbul, Turkey, and London.

-- Backstage With the Arts begins April 20, taking in Europe’s top cultural centers. Highlights include a museum curator taking you through the Berardo Collection Museum in Lisbon; a backstage pass to La Scala in Milan, Italy; and a gala at the Pavlovsk Palace in St. Petersburg, Russia.

-- A second Around the World tour begins Aug. 15 and starts in Seattle. From there it’s on to the world’s largest fish market in Tokyo; time at the Great Wall of China; snorkeling with a marine biologist in the Maldives; going on safari in Tanzania; and ending with Marrakech, Morocco, and New York City.

Price: Around the World trips cost $119,000 per person; solo travelers add $11,000. Backstage With the Arts costs $69,000 per person; solo travelers add $8,000. The price includes guides, air transportation, hotel stays and customized activities.
