GIRLS’ BASKETBALL

Rio Hondo Prep 56, Flintridge Prep 51: The Rebels were upset on the road Thursday in Prep League action.

The Rebels, who lost their second straight in league play, are now 11-4 and 4-2 in league.

Alemany 67, Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy 29: The Tologs fell in Mission League action Thursday night, dropping their record to 6-16 and 1-5 in league.

La Cañada 54, San Marino 25: La Cañada won its ninth straight on Wednesday evening, improving to 17-4 and 5-0 in the Rio Hondo League, with all its league wins coming via double digits.

Courtney Chen scored a team-high 18 points on six-of-nine shooting and added five steals, four rebounds and three assists.

Keilee Bessho added eight points and five rebounds, Sarah Kurdoghlian tallied seven points and nine rebounds and Marie Weston had six points and seven rebounds.

BOYS’ BASKETBALL

La Cañada 59, San Marino 41: The Spartans stayed perfect in the Rio Hondo League with Wednesday’s home victory.

La Cañada is now 15-6 and 5-0 in league, having won three in a row and seven of eight.

La Cañada 3, San Marino 0: The Spartans stayed perfect in the Rio Hondo League with a win on Wednesday at home.

La Cañada is now 10-2-5, 3-0-2 in league.
