Lucky Duck Foundation presents ‘Swing & Soiree’

Share

Professional golfer and commentator Peter Jacobsen served as the MC of the evening entertainment and auction at this year’s Swing & Soiree held at the Santaluz Club Oct. 3.

The nonprofit Lucky Duck Foundation raises funds and awareness for charitable causes. The 8th annual Swing & Soiree included a shotgun shamble golf tournament followed by an evening reception featuring a full bar, dinner and live and silent auction.

All the proceeds raised go to the Lucky Duck Foundation’s three benefiting charities: the Helen Woodward Animal Center, the Challenged Athletes Foundation and Father Joe’s Villages.

The Lucky Duck Foundation is a nonprofit organization founded by Pat Kilkenny, a former University of Oregon Athletic Director, and his wife Stephanie. The Kilkennys live in Del Mar and they match all the money raised at the Swing & Soiree so the money donated has twice the impact. Since its founding, the Lucky Duck Foundation has raised over $5,700,000 for charity.
