Prior to joining the Padres, Quinn completed successful careers in the US Navy, and also as an executive with Northrop Grumman Corporation.

Before joining Northrop, Quinn retired from the U.S. Navy after a long and notable career. Nadel’s 22 years of experience in the insurance industry have been devoted exclusively to addressing the risk management needs of gas and electric utilities, including independent power and nuclear generation, domestically and overseas. His prior experience included five years as an officer in the U.S. Navy’s Nuclear Submarine Force. Nadel served as the Aon Risk Services of Texas representative to various industry groups including the Electric Power Supply Association, the American Gas Association, the Nuclear Energy Institute and the Edison Electric Institute, and he has addressed these groups on various occasions regarding insurance and risk management issues. He is a standing member of NEI’s National Price Anderson working group.

A graduate of the United States Naval Academy, Annapolis, and DePaul University’s Graduate School of Business, Nadel received his Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter designation in 1987, and is a Member of the American Nuclear Society. As a Captain in the United States Naval Reserve Intelligence Program, he has commanded one of the largest military reserve units in the United States.

“We’re deeply honored to welcome JJ and Marshall to the USO San Diego board of directors,” said Lorin Stewart, USO San Diego President and CEO. “JJ and Marshall bring a wealth of business acumen to our organization, and each has a long and distinguish history of serving in and supporting our military.”
