Chargers fans enjoy Dinner with the Pros

San Diego Chargers punter Mike Scifres and John Carney, former Chargers kicker and now kicking consultant for the Super Bowl champion New Orleans Saints, hosted Dinner with the Pros last Friday night at the Pamplemousse Grille in Solana Beach. Pro athletes served as waiters and bartenders at the event benefiting St. Michael’s Center City Schools.

Guests enjoyed a silent auction full of exciting sports items before a gourmet dinner prepared by restaurant owner and chef Jeffrey Strauss.

Athletes playing waiter for the night included the San Diego Padres’ Adrian Gonzalez, Nick Hardwick, Kassim Osgood and David Binn of the Chargers and former Chargers players Mike Goff, Donnie Edwards and Darren Bennett.
