Sponsored Post: Amazon Fresh Expands Into Physical Stores

Most online shoppers today are familiar with using Amazon to purchase items online, with the purchase showing up on your doorstep in a day or two. There are even options to purchase food items and have them delivered, but Amazon is now expanding the Amazon Fresh concept into physical grocery stores. It works exactly as you would expect: you can browse the aisles for your favorite food items as with any other grocery store, and there's also fresh produce and baked goods to cover the types of items that would be slightly awkward to deliver.

Disclosure: This is a paid post for Amazon.com in regards to the company's newest Amazon Fresh physical grocery stores. While Bestcovery.com will earn a commission based on user interaction with the content on this page, we would not feature Amazon Fresh as a promotion if we did not feel like it was a sound concept and worth our readers' valuable time.

Amazon Fresh looks and feels like your local grocery store but adds next-level convenience to your shopping experience. One of the biggest pain points when it comes to traditional grocery shopping is waiting in line to check out, and everyone knows that even the express lanes or self check out machines don't cut down on the wait time by much.

Amazon Fresh offers a unique way to get around the dreaded check out experience thanks to the Amazon Dash Cart. It’s a “smart” cart where you place your bags in the cart, sign in using the Fresh QR code, then just add items to your cart like you typically would. The cart uses strategically placed cameras and sensors to determine what items you put in your cart, and it'll remove items from the shopping list if you change your mind and pull things out of the cart. Once you’re done, just walk out through the Dash Cart lane and your Amazon app will automatically charge the card on file. It’s very simple and quite intuitive.

Of course, you're not stuck with the Dash Cart if you're not sure it's for you. There are regular check out lanes as you'd find in any grocery store, and you can even shop online and pick up in store with all your items already bagged and ready to go. Once again, it's all about maximizing convenience and saving you time.
