Sheriff’s station seeks donations

Donations are being sought for the annual rummage sale put on by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s volunteer group from Crescenta Valley Station. The event will take place at the station, 4554 Briggs Ave., on Saturday May 30, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The volunteers say they’ll welcome donations of gently used clothes, toys, furniture, sporting equipment, housewares and small electronic equipment to add to their sale. All the proceeds go directly to the station volunteer fund, which helps support many of the station’s community programs including the Annual Toy and Food Drive, Volunteers on Patrol, Neighborhood Watch Programs, Arson Watch and outreach events.
