Guild schedules holiday luncheon and boutique

Flintridge Guild of Children’s Hospital Los Angeles is gearing up for its holiday luncheon and boutique, which will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 16, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Altadena Country Club, 2290 Country Club Drive, Altadena.

Themed “A Thankful Heart,” the event will feature 15 vendors selling gifts for the holidays ranging from clothing and jewelry to holiday decor. Also highlighted will be the guild’s “Sweet Shoppe,” where guests can purchase homemade food and decor items.

During the luncheon portion of the day, a guest speaker from Children’s Hospital Los Angeles will give an informational talk on advances that have been made in sarcoma research and treatment.

Area residents interested in attending the luncheon are invited to visit fgch.la for ticket details. Those who will be having lunch must make a reservation, but those who will only be shopping do not need to reserve a space.
