The Flintridge Guild of Children’s Hospital, which has served as a support organization to the renowned Los Angeles facility for more than 65 years, recently enjoyed a luncheon and tour of the hospital.

While there, the guild members toured its neonatal intensive care unit, the Literally Healing Library, and learned about the hospital’s lounge for teens. Curt VandenBerg, MD, director of Sports Medicine at Children’s Hospital, gave a presentation to the local group prior to lunch.

Afterward, the guild members held a meeting where they discussed their upcoming “A Thankful Heart” luncheon and boutique, which will be held at Altadena Country Club on Nov. 15.
