Taylor to perform at donor reception

Share

A private residence in La Cañada Flintridge will be the venue when Lyndon Johnston Taylor, principal second violinist for the Los Angeles Philharmonic, gives a special performance Jan. 26 to thank major donors who gave to an upcoming Hillsides gala.

Pasadena’s Bistro 45 will cater the hearty appetizers to be served at the private affair, which will be held at the home of Rod and Gina Guerra. The Guerras are donating wines from their private collection to be served to guests that night.

“Because this year our gala has a musical theme, we are especially thrilled to welcome such a talented musician to our sponsor reception,” said Hillsides Chief Executive Officer Joseph M. Costa. “Our guests are in for a very special evening.”

Hillsides gala is planned for Feb. 27 at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel in downtown Los Angeles and will carry the theme “Symphony of Dreams.” Sponsorships are still available at various levels. To learn more about becoming a sponsor of the February gala and receiving an invitation to the Jan. 26 reception, call Carrie Espinoza at (323) 543-2800, Ext. 221, or email her at cespinoza@hillsides.org.
