National Charity League opens membership drive

The Glendale Chapter of National Charity League, Inc. has opened its annual membership drive and invites interested mothers and daughters from the La Cañada Flintridge, La Crescenta and Glendale communities to apply for the Classes of 2023, 2022 and 2021.

The local chapter works with more than 20 local philanthropies. It also hosts a community rummage sale to support its philanthropic efforts. The Chapter presents an annual Senior Recognition ball for its graduating class and continues traditions such as a Mother/Daughter Awards Tea and Fashion Show.

The membership cycle begins in September and applications are due by mid-November for incoming seventh, eighth and ninth graders. Invitations for membership are extended in February.
