Dr. Mark Labberton, president of Fuller Seminary, will be the keynote speaker at the annual Community Prayer Breakfast on Thursday, Nov. 3 at the Crescenta-Cañada Family YMCA, 1930 Foothill Blvd. Doors open at 6:30 a.m. and the program will begin at 7 a.m.

More than 400 community members are expected to turn out for the morning of praise and fellowship. The event helps raise funds in support of the YMCA of the Foothills’ Chaplain Services Program.

“One hundred sixty years ago, the Y was founded as a refuge of Bible study and prayer for young men seeking to escape from the hazards of life on the London streets. At the Y, we believe that faith and the power of prayer are at the heart of a strong community,” stated Tyler Wright, president and chief executive of YMCA of the Foothills, in a news release announcing the event.
